I love stories, and I write them down.
Long bio
Stories have been a part of my life since I can remember; acting out plays with my brother and sisters, prancing across the lawn like a prize winning Arabian horse, and playing witches in the old barbecue hut. As I got older, my love for make believe led me to the stage, where I spent a lot of time dressing up (which has always been a favorite past time; Halloween rules) and exploring character.
When my son was born, my passion for stories and characters moved me into screenwriting. I wrote a romantic comedy with a paranormal twist and a family adventure about a boy on a quest for the perfect family, complete with time travel and dancing dishes. I’ve written children’s educational videos on how to do magic and become a clown, and Public Service Announcements for Healthy Families. Along the way I discovered filmmaking. I wrote, directed and filmed several of my own film shorts. In fact, the Kissing Toads novella series was born from an attempt to create a stick figure web series that is weirdly funny, but totally embarrassing due to my lack of computer drawing skills .
Lately, I've been writing books. So most days; rain or shine (we get more rain than shine in Oregon), I can be found working on my next paranormal mystery. That is, when I’m not hiking in the forest, watching a netflix marathon, or curling up with a cup of tea and a good book.
